Whipped Vanilla Frosting

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups salted butter, room temperature
- 4 1⁄2 cups powdered sugar , sifted
- 3-4 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
- Add the butter to the bowl of a stand mixer and beat on high for 5 minutes with the whisk attachment. The butter should appear very light and fluffy and almost white.
- Add in the cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla and beat on high for 5 to 7 minutes.
