Stripe Delight
Ingredients
Gramcracker Crust
- 1 1⁄2 cups gram cracker crumbs
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄3 cup butter, melted
Cream Cheese Layer
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temp
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
Pudding Layer
- 2 small packages of instant chocolate pudding, OR one recipe of homemade chocolate pudding chilled
- 3 1⁄2 cups cold milk
Whipped Cream Layer
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream
- 1⁄4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions
Gramcracker Crust
- In the bottom of a 9-inch by 13-inch glass baking dish place gram cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter and mix to combine. Press crust evenly over the bottom of the baking dish.
Cream Cheese Layer
- In a mixing bowl combine cream cheese, sugar, and milk and whisk until very smooth, light, and fluffy about 4-5 minutes.
- In another bowl, whisk the heavy whipping cream until a firm peak forms.
- Fold the cream cheese mixture into whipped cream. Spread evenly over the gram cracker layer.
Pudding Layer
- In a mixing bowl pour in the milk and pudding mix, whisk for 5 minutes, and pour over cream cheese layer.
- If using homemade chocolate pudding, make pudding and chill before layering over the cream cheese layer.
Whipped Cream Layer
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until firm peaks form, about 5 minutes. Layer over chocolate pudding mixture.
- Chill Stripe Delight for 4 hours before serving.
