Pumpkin Sausage Pasta Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 pound dried pasta
  • 1 pound italian sausages
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 15 ounces pumpkin
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 12 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt 
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 12 cups parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 13 cup bread crumbs

Directions

Pre-Heat Oven to 400 degrees

  1. Cook Pasta
  2. Brown sausage and drain grease
  3. Add onions to meat and cook until translucent then add garlic and cook for 30 second
  4. Add pumpkin, cream cheese, milk, red pepper, black pepper, salt, oregano, parmesan cheese
  5. Once the cheese is melted add the pasta and mix well
  6. Add reserved pasta cooking water if the sauce is too thick
  7. Put into a buttered 9 by 13-inch casserole pan
  8. Over with breadcrumbs and cheese
  9. Back for 30-45 min or until golden brown and bubbly

Notes

You can use the pasta cooking water to thin sauce, if needed.
