Quick Pickled Red Onions

Ingredients
- 2 red onions, sliced very thin
- 1⁄2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1⁄2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar (cane sugar)
Directions
- Place onions in a jar and add the red wine vinegar, water, salt, and sugar until onions are fully covered. Place lid on jar.
- Shake a few times until the salt and sugar dissolve.
- Let it sit for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.
- Enjoy salads, burgers, tacos, etc!
