Ingredients
- 2⁄3 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 2⁄3 cups milk
- 2 1⁄3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 4 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees | Grease a 9 by 13 baking dish
- In a mixing bowl, mix together flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt and set aside.
- In a stand mixer, cream together butter and sugar until lightly fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time. Then add the dry mixture and milk alternately until just combined. Pour batter into prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and the toothpick comes out clean.
