Ingredients
- 1 pound dried pasta
- 1 pound italian sausages
- 1 large onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 15 ounces pumpkin
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1⁄2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1⁄2 cups parmesan cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1⁄3 cup bread crumbs
Directions
Pre-Heat Oven to 400 degrees
- Cook Pasta
- Brown sausage and drain grease
- Add onions to meat and cook until translucent then add garlic and cook for 30 second
- Add pumpkin, cream cheese, milk, red pepper, black pepper, salt, oregano, parmesan cheese
- Once the cheese is melted add the pasta and mix well
- Add reserved pasta cooking water if the sauce is too thick
- Put into a buttered 9 by 13-inch casserole pan
- Over with breadcrumbs and cheese
- Back for 30-45 min or until golden brown and bubbly
Notes
You can use the pasta cooking water to thin sauce, if needed.
