Calendula Infused Oil
Calendula is known for being antimicrobial, antiviral, antifungal, and astringent. It is perfect to use in many homemade beauty products like salves, lotions, and soaps.
Ingredients
- 1 cup olive oil
- 3⁄4 cup dried calendula flowers
Directions
- Fill a glass pint jar with the calendula flowers
- Pour oil over flowers until there is 1 inch of oil covering the
- Stir and remove any air bubbles
- Place lid on and store in a dark location for 4-6 weeks
- Using a fine-mesh strainer, strain herbs from the oil
- Pour infused oil into a glass jar and place back into a dark location until use.
